Luneva ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use the Luneva mobile application.

By using Luneva, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our service:

• Account information: Name and email address when you create an account.
• Health data: Menstrual cycle dates, period length, cycle length, fasting logs, symptoms, and notes that you voluntarily enter into the app.
• Usage data: Basic information about how you use the app, such as when you last opened it, how many sessions you have had, and on how many days you have used it. This is linked to your account and used only by us to understand and improve Luneva. It is never used for advertising or to track you across other apps or websites.
• Device information: A notification token and your device's time zone, used solely to deliver reminders and notifications at the right time.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide personalized cycle tracking and fasting recommendations
• Calculate your current cycle phase and predict upcoming periods
• Display hormone insights and symptom patterns
• Send reminders and notifications you have enabled
• Improve and maintain the app
• Respond to your support requests

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase, which employs industry-standard encryption and security measures. We take the security of your personal health data seriously and implement appropriate technical safeguards to protect it.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your health data is never shared with advertisers or marketing companies.

We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• With service providers who assist in operating the app (e.g., Firebase for data storage), bound by confidentiality agreements
• When required by law or to protect our legal rights

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page within the app
• Withdraw consent to data processing

These rights apply in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including KVKK (Turkey), GDPR (European Union), and applicable U.S. state privacy laws, where applicable.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account from within the app, your data is removed immediately. If you request deletion by email instead, we will process your request and permanently remove your data within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Luneva is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data (profile, cycle data, symptoms, notes, fasting logs, and usage data) instantly at any time from Settings → Delete Account within the app.
